Chouchou’s new EP ASTERISK was released on June 28, 2025.

The title track “Asterisk” is a new interpretation of the piano phrase from “Aster,” originally featured on Arabesque Choche’s solo album haru. Blending emotional melodies with electronic beats and airy sound design, the track paints a delicate portrait of a tender and fragile emotional landscape. This five-track EP includes three remixes born from the original piece and an instrumental version that highlights the lingering resonance of the piano. A harmonious fusion of Chouchou’s new sonic explorations and their signature beauty and comfort. ASTERISK is now available on Bandcamp, iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, and other major download and streaming platforms.

Arabesque Chocheのソロアルバム『haru』に収録された「Aster」のピアノフレーズをもとに、Chouchouとして新たに再構築した表題曲「Asterisk」。
その感傷的な旋律に、エレクトロニックなビートと浮遊感のあるサウンドデザインを重ね、臆病で繊細な大人の心象風景を描き出しています。
この楽曲から派生するように生まれた3つのリミックスと、ピアノの余韻が際立つインストゥルメンタルを含む全5曲からなる本作は、新たなサウンドの試みと、変わらないChouchouの美しさが溶け合う、心地よさに満ちた一枚。
