Chouchou 1st cover album “Faraway Songs” out Jun 29, 2026Chouchou初のカバーアルバム『いつかのうた』、２０２６年６月２９日にリリース
“The sky from sometime long ago, the road we once walked, the song we once hummed.”
On June 29, 2026, Chouchou released covers01 – Itsuka no Uta / Faraway Songs, the first album in our new “covers” series. Alongside its instrumental counterpart, inst11 – Itsuka no Uta / Faraway Songs, the album is now available on major music streaming and download platforms.
Japanese children’s songs and traditional songs have been sung and passed down through generations. With piano and voice, Chouchou shines a new light on the beauty, melancholy, and tenderness found within these timeless melodies.
The album also includes “Who,” an original song written by arabesque especially for this work.
At the end of the album, there is also a special version of “Momiji” featuring Emilie, the daughter of juliet and arabesque.
As a voice from the next generation joins songs that have been passed down through generations, the album gently arrives at a warm and tender place.
[About the Bandcamp Edition]
Due to the sales format and rights-related reasons, the Bandcamp Edition includes “Yuuyake Koyake” as a lyricless Vocalise Version.
Although this differs from the version available on streaming and download services, it was created as a version that lets juliet’s voice resonate like an instrument, focusing on the beauty of the melody itself and the lingering afterglow of dusk.

本作には、arabesqueがこのアルバムのために書き下ろしたオリジナル楽曲「だれ」も収録。
そしてラストには、julietとarabesqueの娘・Emilieが参加した特別な「もみじ」が収められています。
受け継がれてきた歌に、次の世代の声が重なることで、アルバムはそっとあたたかな場所へ辿り着きます。

販売形態および権利上の理由により、「夕焼け小焼け」を歌詞のない Vocalise Version として収録しています。

On August 18th, Chouchou released its fifth remix album, “Lulla,” dedicated to sleep and healing. It is a sequel to the previous album “rem,” and it contains 11 songs in total, including 2 new songs and 9 remixed and rearranged tracks of the past masterpieces of Chouchou. Chouchou and no go’s first collaborative EP “Dialogue / Daydreaming” has been released on August 28, and now available on Bandcamp, iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music and other music download/streaming services.
No go is a solo project by arabesque Choche that mainly focuses on Lo-fi Hip hop. This is an ambitious work by arabesque that connects Chouchou and no go, two distinct projects in their own styles, with juliet’s vocals, and fuses them together in a Chouchou-like arrangement while still maintaining the rough vibe of no go.
The first single “Dialogue,” which triggered the launch of no go, arabesque Choche’s solo project focusing on Lo-fi Hip hop, and the popular song “Daydreaming” from his second album have been newly released with juliet’s vocals and the spirit of Chouchou.

This spring, Chouchou depicts in their new EP “Tomorrow, Beyond the Flower Storm” a story of beautiful and sad arrival of spring, farewells, and new beginnings. The four songs, each featuring the same chorus but arranged differently, carefully weave universal themes such as sometimes a graduation and a new departure, sometimes an eternal separation from a loved one, and sometimes love, together with the beautiful colors of spring.
