Piano is the most essential instrument for the music of Chouchou. This album "piano01 oto" is the first release from the new line that focuses only on piano. The album contains 20 tracks including 9 tracks from the past released albums "sound01-04" which are specially extended and reconstructed for this album and also 3 bonus tracks, piano solo ver. of Chouchou's popular songs, "anemone", "sign" (selected by fan voting) and "spira" (selected by juliet Heberle). This 20 tracks created with many different approaches show you various colors like a beautiful collection of short stories, and yet at the same time each track brings you a certain scenary just like other Chouchou songs and takes the listeners to the warm nostalgic and a little bit lonesome journey everytime you listen.

And this time, a very special edition, The Collector's Edition [Box Set] is also available in a limited quantity. The set contains CD, 66 pages of sheet music comprising all 20 tracks of "piano01 oto" and the A4 size poster (print) of music manuscript written by the composer, arabesque Choche. Also, all of the first press limited edition CD or The Collector's Edition [Box Set] come with a limited edition mini card/postcard autographed by Chouchou and a download code for early download of a new song "LUX Aeterna" (eterna piano + vocal ver.) from Chouchou's upcoming remix album releasing in 2015.

Chouchouにとって、欠かす事の出来ない楽器、ピアノ。本作「piano01 oto」は、そのピアノにのみ焦点をあてたChouchouの新しいラインであるpianoシリーズからの最初のリリース作品。これまでに発表したサウンドアルバム「sound01-04」の中から本作のために特別に拡張・再構築が施された9曲や、ファン投票により選ばれた「anemone」、「sign」に加え、juliet自らセレクトした「spira」といったChouchouの人気楽曲をピアノソロバージョンにリアレンジしたボーナストラック3曲を含む全20曲入り。色々なアプローチから作られた20曲は、まるで珠玉の短篇集のように様々な色を見せながらも、どの曲も聴く度にその景色をも運んでくるようなChouchou独特の世界観が存在し、聴く人を、暖かく、懐かしく、少し寂しい旅に誘います。

今回は、CDの他に作曲者arabesqueが自ら作譜した66ページから成る「piano01 oto」全20曲分の譜面や、自筆譜のA4サイズポスター（印刷）がついた特別限定セット、The Collector's Edition [Box Set]も数量限定でご用意しました。また、CDとThe Collector's Edition [Box Set]の初回出荷分全てに、2015年にリリース予定のリミックスアルバムから、Chouchouの新曲「LUX Aeterna」（「eterna」のピアノ＋ボーカルバージョン）が先行ダウンロードできるダウンロードコードと、直筆サイン入りミニカード/ポストカードをプレゼントいたします。
