Chouchou new album “theme03 Hello, Astronauts” out Dec 13

Chouchou’s new album “theme03 Hello, Astronauts” has been released today!

After two years from the release of the previous “Traveling Nights” themed album “theme02 Night and Wanderer,” the scene is now shifted to the universe, and Chouchou releases their third concept album as the last release of 2019. The album contains nine tracks, and while challenging the most epic theme, “The Universe,” Chouchou writes its divinity, enigma, and beauty sometimes intensely, sometimes lightly, and sometimes lyrically. It is a record of “Space Traveling” that can only be written by Chouchou. The album is now available on digital download and music streaming services with its instrumental version “inst08 Hello, Astronauts” (8 Tracks).

「夜を旅する」をテーマにに制作された前作『theme02 Night and Wanderer』から2年。舞台を宇宙へと移し、2019年最後に放たれる待望のコンセプトアルバム三作目。全9曲で構成された今作は、「宇宙」というChouchou史上最も壮大なテーマに挑みながら、その神々しさ、不可解さ、美しさを時に激しく、時に軽快に、時に叙情的に綴った、Chouchouにしか描けない「宇宙への旅」の記録。インスト版『inst08 Hello, Astronauts』（全8曲）と共に、本日より各ダウンロード／ストリーミングサービスでお聴き頂けます。

Chouchou new album “code01 oort” out Aug 18

Chouchou’s new album “code01 oort” was released on October 18th. It is a divine full album filled with the beautiful yet experimental new sound of Chouchou. And it is now available for both digital download and streaming.

In December last year, at the event “Architecture and Resonance” sponsored by Kanto Branch of Architectural Institute of Japan, Chouchou performed an experimental live concert using a great sound system fully supported and provided by YAMAHA. And now, the songs played in the concert had been reconstructed by arabesque and came back with the name “code01 oort” and became the first album from their “Experimental Album” line newly launched for their experimental and avant-garde works.

昨年12月、日本建築学会関東支部主催のイベント『建築と響き』にて、ヤマハの全面バックアップによる贅沢な音響システムを使い行われたChouchouの実験的なコンサート。その中で披露された楽曲達が今、arabesqueにより新たに再構築され、『code01 oort』という名を冠して再び蘇り、Chouchouの実験的且つ前衛的作品のための新しいライン「Experimental Album」からの最初の作品としてリリースされました。

Chouchou new EP “UTOPIA” out May 11

Chouchou’s new EP “UTOPIA” was released on May 11th, 2019. EP includes 5 songs, which were composed with the motif of the piano piece “-topia” from Chouchou’s latest piano album “piano02 opus” released on Dec, 2018. It is now available on iTunes stores and Bandcamp, and this time, we also test music streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, AWA and Google Play because we’ve received a number of requests from our fans. However, please understand that it’s not a easy thing for musicians to take a risky step of releasing own music on music streaming services and start building a completely new business model. We hope this new little step will find a good future for our music activity.
